On 11 September, Qais al-Khazali, AAH’s secretary-general, said AAH’s latest position was unrelated to removing PMF chairman Faleh al-Fayyad, had no AAH replacement and did not seek the post. Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) paired the denial with Khazali’s observations about Fayyadh’s PMF management, security-reporting negligence and electoral exploitation.
