On 27 October, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official owned media) reported Qais al-Khazali, AAH’s secretary-general, received Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities Minister Ribaz Hamlan and congratulated him on assuming his duties. It attributed to Khazali calls to intensify government housing efforts, address outstanding urban-development issues and facilitate procedures concerning housing laws and legislation.
