On 10 September, AAH secretary-general Qais al-Khazali identified Dr. Laith al-Khazali as Sadiqoun’s deputy-prime-minister candidate, acknowledged one internal opponent and claimed enough allies inside and outside the Coordination Framework to pass AAH’s entitlement comfortably. MP Jasim Warwar al-Sharifi, speaking on Al-Nujaba TV (Nujaba — official), defined Sadiqoun’s entitlement as a ministry and a deputy-prime-minister post and said it had not requested the PMF chairmanship.
