The records behind Iraq Monitor’s maps and counts, free to download and reuse with attribution. Each file is rebuilt from the published record every hour.
Every protest in Iraq that Iraq Monitor recorded in the past 365 days: date, governorate, place, demand, size, casualties, arrests, how well it is corroborated and the source reports behind it. Updated daily.
ISIS claims and reported ISIS attacks in Iraq over the past year, with separate judgements on whether each attack happened and whether it was ISIS, the reported casualties and the sources. Operations against ISIS are listed separately and never counted as attacks.
For each Iraqi armed faction and media channel: how many checkable claims it made (strikes, casualties, arrests, deployments), how many were checked to a conclusion, and how many the same events were also reported outside the militias' own channels — by Iraqi or international media, official statements or monitoring groups — or contradicted.
The number of attacks Iraqi armed factions claimed in their own voice on their own channels, per day. A claim is what was said, not a verified attack.
Iraq’s economy — oil exports, the official and street dinar rate, central bank dollar sales, the state’s monthly accounts — is on the Economy page, every series downloadable as CSV with its source. The Federal Board of Supreme Audit’s tables are on the Audit, also as CSV.
