On 12 September, Sadiqoun MP Salem al-Abbasawi (AAH) told Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) that PMF chairman Faleh al-Fayyad should have taken the initiative to attend parliament during what the channel called the “American-Saudi aggression.” The previous evening, Qais al-Khazali (AAH — secretary-general) had criticised Fayyadh’s PMF management while denying that AAH sought his removal or position.
