On 12 September, Hakim Atiya al-Muhammadawi, a member of the Sadiqoun Movement’s general body, told Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) that PMF leadership had shown major negligence by failing to notify PMF headquarters before attacks. He said Qais al-Khazali, AAH’s secretary-general, respected PMF chairman Faleh al-Fayyad and wanted the PMF law completed and put to a vote.
