On 11 September, Badr Organization-owned Al-Ghadeer TV called for expedited submission of the PMF law, citing government and parliamentary support. Its report followed Hoquq MP Miqdad al-Khafaji’s claim on Kataib Hezbollah-owned Al-Ittijah TV that more than 140 MPs had signed for enactment and Qais al-Khazali, AAH’s secretary-general, calling the law’s passage necessary.
