On 12 September, Sadiqoun member Ahmad Adnan said on Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) that the Coordination Framework had voted on four deputy-prime-minister positions by 11 votes out of 12. He added that Sadiqoun could pass its candidate for deputy prime minister “with our eyes closed”; Qais al-Khazali, AAH’s secretary-general, had previously identified Dr Laith al-Khazali as Sadiqoun’s nominee.
