On 20 September, Sadiqoun member Ahmad Adnan, speaking on Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official), alleged that PMF chairman Faleh al-Fayyad sent delegations and intermediaries to Sadiqoun after declining to appear before parliament. The proceeding concerned parliamentary questioning over the reported Saudi strike and notification of Fayyad; Victory Coalition spokesman Salam al-Zubaidi separately described Fayyad’s absence as political and alleged that political forces retained him to exploit the PMF electorally. Adnan also called for scrutiny of reports alleging transfers of Fayyad’s money from Qatar to Turkey, saying the Integrity Commission should act if the parliamentary Security Committee did not.
