Reports describe the measure as a draft PMF law awaiting parliamentary discussion and approval, and Hoquq MP Muhammad al-Hasnawi said work toward its enactment was continuing. On 15 September, Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official) said pressures were obstructing legislation despite parliamentary activity. Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official) subsequently said the law was nearing parliament and presented resolution of the file as expected.
