On 6 September, Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) attributed to MP Noor Adel the statement that the PMF law would reach a parliamentary session “very soon.” She said it would protect fighters and those who answered the marjaiya’s fatwa, with provisions for logistical-support groups including husayni processions and associations that accompanied the forces during liberation battles.

“MP Dr Noor Adel: The PMF law will come before a parliament session very soon. The law will preserve the rights of the fighters and those who answered the marjaiya’s fatwa, and there will be provisions concerning the brothers in logistical support from husayni processions and associations that accompanied our forces during the battles of liberation.”
