Unit 10,000 and Sabereen News (both KH — affiliated) opened a second front on the Jurf al-Nasr row this afternoon, this time against Khalid Abd al-Mun'im Rashid al-Janabi, over his description of the security forces' liberation of the area from ISIS as an "occupation". Within an eleven-minute span the two channels ran the same denunciation, cataloguing his Saddam-era posts — head of the presidential diwan, mayor of Baghdad, agriculture minister — and naming his brother Adnan Abd al-Mun'im al-Janabi as a member of the Baath National Assembly in 2000; Unit 10,000 added the charge that he incites internal fighting. Both posts carried video of a man at a press event that the desk could not match to the named speaker. Against the morning's Babil track, the network's response to Jurf al-Nasr criticism has moved from courts to CVs: no other tracked faction's channels engaged al-Janabi or the Jurf al-Nasr criticism in the collected material.
In the militia space, the arms-monopoly question split the networks inside a single hour. Between 15:59 and 16:24, Badr-, KSS- and AAH-linked channels carried Prime Minister Ali Falih al-Zaidi's statement that from 1 October Iraq would hold no foreign military presence and no weapons outside the framework of the state; at 17:01 Unit 10,000 published one unattributed line, "Weapons will be used to defend weapons". The KH line names no opponent, no target, no date and no operation, and carries no attribution to a KH office or spokesman. In the same window Nujaba spokesman Hussein Ali al-Mousawi, carried on Shabab al-Islam (Ashab al-Kahf — owned, non-official), said the movement will not hand over its weapons and that the monopoly file aims only at resistance arms under American-Zionist dictates, while Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) promoted the prime minister's dual formula without objection.
On the withdrawal date, Watan TV (Badr Organization — affiliated) went beyond the others. Reporting al-Zaidi's meeting with the US Central Command commander, it carried 30 September as a "fixed and final" date for the end of the coalition's mission and its departure, then minutes later posted the 1 October wording the KSS- and AAH-linked channels used; iNEWS (KSS — affiliated) described a complete and final agreement rather than a deadline. Outside the militia channels, AP reported officials saying US forces are on track to complete the pullout by 30 September, and Shafaq carried al-Zaidi's own 1 October formulation — the Badr date now has outside support the militia channels did not give it.
Still on the domestic front, Al-Ahad TV ran four items in roughly forty minutes on Adnan al-Janabi, advancing this morning's Babil track from denunciation to paperwork: council member Hussein al-Dahmoushi tied the statements to the approaching local elections, security committee head Muhannad al-Anazi described popular, political and tribal condemnation, and the channel reported judicial action. Visual review of the segment shows a document on Babil Provincial Council letterhead addressed to the Hilla investigative court requesting legal measures against Adnan Ni'ma Rashid al-Janabi; the desk cannot authenticate it. Council chairman Asaad al-Maslmawi told the channel the council was surprised by the statements and had filed a judicial complaint. No other tracked channel carried the story, and the judicial step is uncorroborated.
Also on the domestic front, KH's two affiliated channels reported the release of political researcher Hussein Baroud two minutes apart, and diverged on what they claimed. Sabereen News gave the release as a fact, detained over his opposition to selling the country's resources to foreigners; Unit 10,000 credited Huquq bloc MP Hussein Mu'nis, MP Saud al-Saadi and other MPs with securing it and named criticism of American contracts as the trigger for the arrest. Neither post names the arresting authority or the legal basis, and the MPs' role rests on Unit 10,000 alone. The same pair earlier published near-identical lists of three senior Interior Ministry police transfers within three minutes, with no faction comment and no ministry announcement in hand.
On the security file, iNEWS carried remarks attributed to Alaa al-Khatib calling Simaan "Erdogan's governor and not an Iraqi governor" and describing a recent agreement as treason, without saying which agreement or which province is meant. Separately, Al-Kornet al-Kata'ibi (KSS — affiliated) posted a statement attributed to a speaker it named as al-Naqdi saying that if Iran had no missiles left "we will be more dangerous to America" and that America's economic interests worldwide can easily be destroyed. Neither statement names a target, a timetable or the speaker's position, and no claim of responsibility for any act accompanies either.
