KH channel answers state arms-monopoly line with counter-formula

WHAT HAPPENED

Between 15:59 and 16:24 on 12 August, channels affiliated with Badr, KSS and AAH carried a statement attributed to Prime Minister Ali Falih al-Zaidi that from 1 October Iraq would hold no foreign military presence and no weapons outside the framework of the state. At 17:01 the same day, Unit 10,000 (KH — affiliated) published a single unattributed line: "Weapons will be used to defend weapons." The rung holds at credible for the divergence itself, which rests on two independent lines — the state-monopoly wording carried verbatim by three separate networks, and KH's own channel publishing the opposing formula in the same hour; what is missing is any named opponent, timetable, target or authorship for the KH line.
