Across roughly forty minutes on 12 August, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) aired four items on Adnan al-Janabi's statements about Jurf al-Nasr: Babil Provincial Council member Hussein al-Dahmoushi calling them a disregard for the prestige of the state and the sacrifices of the security forces and attributing them to the approaching local elections, the council's security committee head Muhannad al-Anazi describing popular, political and tribal condemnation, and a report of judicial action against al-Janabi. Visual review of the security-committee segment shows a document on Babil Provincial Council letterhead addressed to the Hilla investigative court requesting legal measures against a person named Adnan Ni'ma Rashid al-Janabi; the desk cannot authenticate the document. The rung is preponderance: the statements and the programme framing are established from the channel itself, but every element comes from one outlet and the judicial step is not corroborated anywhere else in hand.

A dispute over how the clearing of Jurf al-Nasr is described is being carried from broadcast denunciation to the Hilla investigative court, and on the evidence in hand only AAH's own channel is carrying it.
