The objection followed Al-Nujaba TV’s (Nujaba — official owned media) relay of the prime minister’s investigation order concerning council head Mustafa Duair’s threatened civil disobedience if Shib remained closed and his use of inappropriate language. Al-Janoub TV (Harakat al-Jihad wal-Bina — official owned media) subsequently reported continuing demonstrations at the crossing demanding its reopening.
