The Turkey line is not consensus even inside the armed camp, and that is where the day's militia traffic sits. iNEWS (Kata'ib Sayyid al-Shuhada — affiliated) headlined al-Jabiri's line that "we are heading toward alliance and integration with Turkey" alongside al-Jaza'iri's interruption questioning his consistency — the desk records this as divergence aired on a KSS-linked platform, not a leadership split, since the supplied evidence does not establish either speaker's office.
The day's loudest line came at 13:13, when Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official media) carried a spokesman for the "Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters" declaring that ships of every company and state welcoming Trump's proposal "will not be allowed" through the Strait of Hormuz. The desk reads this as a relay, not a Badr declaration: no Iraqi actor is named, no vessel, no timetable, and in the collected window no other tracked channel — KH's Al-Ittijah TV, AAH's Al-Ahad TV, KSS's iNEWS, Nujaba's Jehad Brothers Team among them — echoed the line. Declaratory tier, not preparation tier.
Against that maritime backdrop, the independent press was reporting kinetics no militia channel claimed: Reuters reported that Saudi Arabia says drones launched from Iraq targeting oil facilities were intercepted at 19:47 UTC, and The New Region reported at 20:25 that Riyadh urged Baghdad to restrain pro-Iran militias amid fresh drone attacks. Kurdistan24 reported at 15:30 that Jordan downed a drone near the Iraqi and Saudi borders. No tracked channel in the assets claimed any of it. The desk's own counting registers 13 of 33 watched channels surging on Iraqi state since 26 July, 11 on CENTCOM, 11 on the United States and 11 on Iran.
The bulk of the space's output was aimed inward, at money. Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) ran two economic segments minutes apart, with Dr. Muhannad al-Amari on "20 trillion annually" of escaping oil revenue and Mustafa Hantoush warning "we no longer have tankers" against future salaries — guest voices on AAH's platform, unanswered elsewhere in the window, while Rudaw reported at 17:30 that SOMO put May–June exports at 32.1M barrels for $2.3B. The same channel relayed national security advisor Qasim al-Aboudi saying Iran pledged to help PM Ali al-Zaidi confine weapons to the state — with no Iranian confirmation in the supplied evidence and no AAH line of its own attached.
KSS-aligned iNEWS and Badr's Watan TV worked the same corruption seam through the afternoon: a headline at 14:36 alleging "strange contracts" and a new "deal of the century" at the Electricity Ministry, a 16:05 documents-promised report on property-violation fee collections, a 16:55 line blaming reconstruction and political-tribal cover, plus Majid Muslim on Salah al-Din "drowning in catastrophic corruption" — none naming a target. Watan TV asked where the trillions for electricity went, reported an Integrity Commission network arrest in Kirkuk at 16:27, and within thirty-six minutes announced both a state electricity utility purge and a Staff College appointment.
Placement, not kinetics, is Badr's observed instrument here.
Two files cut across the alignment question. Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) posted at 15:38 what it presented as Administrative Court summons paperwork against Anbar's governor and municipalities director over 7,000 state property parcels in Falluja, with Shabab al-Islam (Ashab al-Kahf — owned, non-official) carrying the same text twelve minutes later without the documents — downstream pickup, at preponderance, hearing set for 30 August.
Meanwhile iNEWS (KSS — affiliated) aired al-Jabiri saying "we are heading toward alliance and integration with Turkey" with al-Jaza'iri interrupting to question his consistency — aired on the very day Rudaw reported Erdogan receiving the Iraqi PM in Ankara and Reuters reported an energy cooperation deal in prospect. The desk cannot place either speaker's office from the supplied material.
