Yazidi Cause Alliance endorses Sinjar integration and presses civilian demands

On 28 October, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official owned media) relayed the Yazidi Cause Alliance’s support for completing the integration of Sinjar Protection Units into Iraq’s security system. The alliance also sought compensation for affected people and victims’ families, return grants, faster displaced-person returns and camp closures, reconstruction, services and resolution of remaining Sinjar files, while thanking Baghdad for dealing directly with its independent representatives. Alsumaria separately reported that Turkey welcomed Iraqi measures in Sinjar and linked them to handing over Baashiqa base.
