On 26 October, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official owned media) carried House of Coexistence in Sinjar founder Mirza Danayi’s support for integrating the Sinjar Resistance Units, or YBŞ, into Iraqi security forces and ending their separate affiliation. Political analyst Faiq Yazidi called integration a purely Iraqi security arrangement and said Turkey should change its policy toward an Iraqi Sinjar; Danayi also said the fate of 2,400 abducted Yazidis remained unknown.
