On 26 October, Sinjar Resistance Units leader Sheikh Bakhil Murad said more than 4,000 personnel would join federal security forces and called integration a historic achievement, in remarks carried by Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official owned media). The channel also carried Yazidi Cause parliamentary bloc head Murad Ismail’s endorsement of integration under the commander-in-chief and his appeal to Sadiqoun (AAH — parliamentary bloc) to support Yazidis, saying half the community remained displaced and had received neither government compensation nor the displaced-person grant. Naram Sin Center for Studies head Haider al-Barzanji described weapons regulation as an integrative process directed against no community, faction or sect.
