On 26 September, an Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) graphic attributed Qais al-Khazali, AAH’s secretary-general, a call for a unified Iraqi rejection of what he called the siege on Iran. It said Iraq should not differ from Turkey and Afghanistan in refusing a siege of peoples. Al-Ahad TV also carried a Sadiqoun bloc rejection of the flight suspension as a violation of sovereignty; earlier reporting had already identified al-Khazali and carried his opposition to the restrictions.
