Asaib Ahl al-Haq's official channel Al-Ahad TV carried Sadiqoun General Council member Ahmed Adnan yesterday evening saying that US envoy Tom Barrack informed Prime Minister al-Zaydi of the date of the attack on the Popular Mobilization Forces, that al-Zaydi passed it to PMF chairman Faleh al-Fayyad three hours before it in the presence of Abd al-Amir al-Shammari, and that al-Fayyad's office notified the PMF in Nineveh only after the attack had happened. Adnan demanded the government hold al-Fayyad to account and parliament interrogate him, said three days had passed with no denial, and added that "the Sadiqoun position concerns blood; we do not want posts". Nothing from al-Fayyad's office is in hand. In the same programme block Adnan also said the statement issued in response to Saudi Arabia "does not represent all of the Coordination Framework of Resistance", while a political researcher on the same panel named the United States rather than Saudi Arabia as the driver and counselled no response, and a Reconstruction and Development Coalition figure said his side is proceeding with the government on confining weapons to the state.

In the militia space, Kataib Hezbollah's official channel Al-Ittijah TV announced this morning that an Islamic Resistance deadline for the Iraqi government to respond to "the Saudi-American aggression" expires tomorrow, twelve minutes after carrying Brigadier Ibn al-Rida saying the armed forces have full capability to respond to any threat through national defence industries. No target, operation or consequence of expiry is stated, the deadline appears only in that channel's wording, and no faction claimed any operation or retaliation in the window. The same channel separately carried al-Badri calling the Iraqi foreign minister's meeting with his Saudi counterpart "disregard for Iraqis' sacrifices" and requiring a parliamentary position, naming no motion or bloc.

On the weapons file, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official), Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official) and Watan TV (Badr Organization — affiliated) each carried the State Administration Coalition's 73rd-meeting outputs late yesterday: weapons confined to the state, armed conduct outside the state's framework treated under the counterterrorism law after 30 September, and a bar on Iraqi territory being used to attack neighbouring states. None of the cited items adds a statement in the factions' own voice, and no armed formation stated compliance. The coalition's adherence to the disarmament deadline was reported outside the militia channels as well.

Still on weapons, Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) and Al-Kornet al-Kata'ibi (KSS — affiliated) published within roughly ninety seconds of each other this morning the same statement attributed to MP Falih al-Khazali in materially identical wording: resistance weapons are an honour to be defended inside and outside parliament, and disarmament calls fall within a Zionist plan. Neither faction's channel differentiated its framing, no faction claimed the remarks as an official position, and no outside coverage of them is in hand. Badr's Watan TV meanwhile carried commentator Shloushi's line that the people's weapon is what protects the state, some forty minutes after Al-Ahad TV aired Adnan saying everyone must submit to state monopoly of arms.

On the economy, three networks attacked Iraqi fiscal management within seventy-five minutes yesterday evening while diverging on the diagnosis: Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official) carried Finance Committee member MP Hussein al-Daraji saying the government will borrow at home or abroad to secure salaries, iNEWS (KSS — affiliated) carried an economist saying the liquidity crisis is fabricated, and Al-Nujaba TV (Nujaba — official) alleged failed companies obtain exceptional approvals worth hundreds of billions. The KH and KSS lines contradict each other on whether the money exists. Al-Janoub TV (Harakat al-Jihad wal-Bina — official) ran its own morning line that the government is obliged to pay Education Ministry salaries and is vacillating between borrowing and delaying salaries amid popular anger, and carried the Kirkuk operations commander announcing stringent legal measures against pages accused of incitement without comment of its own.

On Saudi Arabia, Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) and then Unit 10,000 (KH — affiliated) five minutes later carried word-for-word the same claim attributed to politician Aras Habib: that Saudi intelligence offered former Defence Minister Saadoun al-Dulaimi facilitation for five thousand "terrorists" to enter Anbar, and expelled his family from their lands when he refused. The words are carried as Habib's, not as a Kataib Hezbollah position, and no outside coverage of the allegation is in hand. By the desk's own counting, 12 of 34 watched channels across five networks have surged on Saudi Arabia since 3 August, with the baseline still forming.
