On 8 September, Shafaq News cited Coordination Framework sources saying Qais al-Khazali, AAH’s secretary-general, and State of Law leader Nouri al-Maliki clashed over proposed deputy-premier posts. Later, Sadiqoun MP Sakr al-Amshani told Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) that the bloc had a parliamentary and political entitlement, sought no more than its share of government representation and rejected interference with that entitlement; political analyst Salam Adel said its seat count gave it strong cabinet prospects.
