On 7 September, Sadiqoun MP Salem al-Absawi told Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) that some prime-ministerial powers should be distributed, government representation should reflect electoral weight, an internal Coordination Framework agreement covered deputy-premier posts and ministries would face redistribution demands if those posts were rejected. Reconstruction and Development Coalition member Mohammad al-Mutalibi backed partners’ entitlements, ministry and post redistribution, and Sadiqoun’s share. State of Law coalition member Salah Boushi said the posts had not reached the Framework agenda, described them as a political decision without a legal defect, offered to surrender ministries for the public interest, sought a single cabinet package, named four Interior Ministry candidates and said Qasim Atta would be replaced if he failed to pass the cabinet-completion session.
