On 28 October, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official owned media) quoted Sadiqoun MP Qaysar al-Jurani (AAH) putting Kurdistan’s production at 625,000 barrels daily, saying SOMO lacks information about smuggled oil and questioning the gap between production and exports; he also said Turkey receives no tankers carrying smuggled Kurdish oil. KDP MP Bnas al-Doski instead cited a SOMO director’s figure below 200,000 barrels and an American company’s figure of 230,000, while former MP Ghalib Muhammad, identified by the channel with the Mowqif Movement, put production above 400,000 and requested a federal investigation into Khor Mor production.
