On 28 October, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official owned media) quoted Maysan education inspector Ali al-Zubaidi thanking the Education Ministry for approving a vocational preparatory school’s naming after PMF commander Wisam al-Ulawai. It also carried his appeal for all government institutions and public facilities to bear the names of martyrs and leaders in recognition of their sacrifices. The channel had previously reported the school’s opening and relayed the PMF Authority’s identification of al-Ulawai as a PMF commander.
