On 29 September, Sadiqoun MP Qais al-Jorani credited the PMF bill’s referral to his bloc’s continuing efforts and the guidance of Qais al-Khazali, AAH’s secretary-general. Sadiqoun MP Salim al-Abbasawi said the bill would move quickly and that everyone agreed on voting for it; Development and Reconstruction Coalition member Muhammad Khalid urged other blocs to approve it quickly.
