On 29 September, Sadiqoun parliamentary bloc spokesman Muhammad al-Baldaawi (AAH — Sadiqoun bloc) credited the bloc’s persistence and the direction of Qais al-Khazali, AAH’s secretary-general, for the cabinet’s referral of the PMF bill. Sadiqoun bloc head and MP Uday Awwad (AAH — Sadiqoun bloc) said the bloc would complete the legislative steps needed for passage.
