On 18 September, RojNews reported that stalled negotiations could prompt Prime Minister Ali al-Zaydi to close faction headquarters after a 30 September deadline, while Al-Araby al-Jadeed reported no negotiating progress and said Kataib Hezbollah, Nujaba, Kataib Sayyid al-Shuhada, Ansar Allah al-Awfiya and al-Badala still rejected surrendering drones and long-range missiles.
