On 25 October, iNEWS (KSS — affiliated/aligned media) carried Muntasirun bloc head and MP Falih al-Khazali’s (KSS) call for Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi and his cabinet to hold a session in Basra. He requested more land distributions, describing Basra as the province with the second-highest number of informal settlements, and called for land for martyrs’ families and defence personnel to be distributed from cadastral sections 55 and Martyr Wisam.
