Hamed al-Moussawi ties parliament to PMF laws

WHAT HAPPENED

Hamed al-Moussawi (Badr bloc spokesman) said on Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official) early on August 26 that the current parliamentary session would not pass without PMF retirement and structural laws. Minutes later, he said the weapons of the PMF and the factions belonged to the Iraqi state, without specifying legislative provisions, command reforms or an enforcement mechanism.
