On 9 September, Hamid al-Musawi, spokesman for the Badr parliamentary bloc, said the bloc supported the government and sought to pass legislation, foremost the PMF law. Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official) carried the statement and identified his role in its caption and lower third.
