On 27 October, Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official owned media) carried Badr parliamentary bloc head Mehdi Taqi al-Amirli’s proposal to cap 2027 spending at 170–175 trillion dinars rather than 220 trillion. He called for ministry collections to be linked to the Finance Ministry, customs exemptions for food, medical goods and live animals for meat, activation of national factories and agricultural development, and opposed raising the dollar exchange rate.
