On 25 September, Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official) announced a gathering at Baghdad’s Tahrir Square on 26 September, from 3 to 6 p.m.; Badr political bureau chief Muhammad Naji Muhammad separately said the public would speak “tomorrow” against the blockade. Badr executive deputy Abu Hossam al-Sahlani called for Iraqi government action against restrictions on Iranian civil aviation. Akram al-Kaabi, Nujaba’s secretary-general, called for Iraqis, Imam Hussein service groups and processions, and visitors to Imam Reza to prepare for sit-ins at Iraqi airports if U.S. dominance did not end and normal flights with Iran did not resume; Shafaq News also reported his statement.
