Akram al-Kaabi (Nujaba — secretary-general) said on 2 September that Nujaba was monitoring 30 September with full readiness for a “decisive battle” if foreign forces failed to withdraw completely from Iraqi land and airspace. He said any soldier remaining after that date would not return safely and would be sent back as a corpse; Akram al-Kaabi channel (Nujaba — official leader channel) originated the collected statement, Nujaba-owned television repeated it, and Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official owned media) carried the longer text.
