On 24 September, FAA (Ansar Allah al-Awfiya — official) attributed to movement leader Ali al-Fatlawi the statements that an “al-Jolani scenario” would not recur in Iraq and that Sunnis would not repeat their experience with ISIS. In the latter post, he said the PMF had its “finger on the trigger.” The statements announced no operation or timetable.
