On 14 September, Ali al-Fatlawi (Ansar Allah al-Awfiya — leader), speaking on Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official), said there was no evidence factions attacked Saudi Arabia, asserted Saudi Arabia knew the strike was conducted by non-Iraqi hands and said factional retaliation remained deferred. Baa Platform (Badr Organization — official) subsequently said an Aramco strike was ready to be repeated, promised a final nail in the addressee’s coffin and told people near refineries to stay miles away; a later Al-Ahad TV caption said al-Fatlawi considered the attack likely to have been carried out by Iraqi hands.
