Channels of KH, Badr Organization, Ashab al-Kahf and Nujaba reported drone attacks on American positions around Erbil late on 13 August, and no faction has claimed responsibility in the material collected. Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) posted first, reporting repeated blasts near Erbil airport and the American-run Harir base, a direct hit on an American army position and the airport's closure, and said neither Patriot nor what it called the "Siram" system was activated; Shabab al-Islam (Ashab al-Kahf — owned/non-official) alone said a hotel housing American personnel was struck, and Jehad Brothers Team (Nujaba — affiliated) posted what it presented as footage. Shortly after midnight a second wave of reporting diverged on scale: Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) put six drones on military points and named the Rotana and Divan hotels, Watan TV (Badr Organization — affiliated) posted night video it called fire at the hotel where Americans reside, and Al-Kornet al-Kata'ibi (KSS — affiliated) confined itself to the flight suspensions at Erbil airport.

The desk's review of the posted clips could not identify drones, explosions or locations, and no outside coverage of the attack is in hand.

In the militia space, four Sadiqoun bloc MPs went on Al-Ahad TV inside seven minutes on Friday morning to attack the Popular Mobilization Commission over an alleged Saudi attack and the deaths of PMF fighters. Mohammed Abu al-Ais named Commission chairman Faleh al-Fayyad personally, accusing him of overlooking the aggression and of failing to warn the units, while Ahmad al-Asadi promised "severe accountability" for those negligent. The alleged attack itself is described in no item the desk holds, and no answer from the Commission or Fayyad appears in the cited material.

On the weapons file, the Badr Organization published its own preconditions in a signed statement while other channels relayed harder versions of its line. Political office head Muhammad Naji Muhammad, on Badr's Baa Platform, set three conditions before weapons are confined to the state — complete American withdrawal, removal of strategic threats to Iraq, and full construction of the armed forces including air defence — said the process must be calm and agreed with resistance leaders, called reported language about imposing force a "major overstep" if accurate, and proposed Hadi al-Amiri as coordinator. Watan TV and Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official) carried the same three points overnight with a warning to Prime Minister al-Ziyadi not to go far in accommodating America, and iNEWS (KSS — affiliated) separately carried words attributed to a Badr political office head rejecting any forced surrender of resistance weapons.

Still on that file, the relays of Badr's position emphasised different things than Badr did. Al-Ittijah TV (KH — official) attributed to Badr the position that restricting weapons is conditional on ending the foreign presence, while Kurdistan24, the only outside coverage of the Badr line in hand, reported earlier the same morning that Badr warned disarmament could trigger civil war. Neither line is Badr's own wording. Al-Ittijah ran three anti-disarmament items of its own inside an hour, including al-Saidi calling handover of the resistance's weapons "impossible" amid existential threats to Iraq, with neither the threats nor the sovereignty condition defined.

Where Badr published preconditions, AAH's channel aired conciliation. At 00:13 Al-Ahad TV carried political analyst Imad al-Khuzaie saying the factions refusing to confine weapons must be handled wisely and that many channels of communication exist with results appearing soon. He also called the security agencies' harsh treatment of protesting PMF wounded in Baghdad regrettable — a grievance neither Badr item raises. The speaker is described as an analyst, not an AAH official. The same channel reported hours earlier that the wounded had ended their sit-in "in appreciation of the Sadiqoun bloc's efforts", with no organiser or PMF authority confirming that role.

On the security file, four militia-linked channels reported a clash at al-Suqur checkpoint at the entrance to Anbar on the night of 13 August between a security force and an MP's protection detail. Al-Ghadeer TV and Sabereen News posted near-identical one-line reports, Al-Kornet al-Kata'ibi added that the convoy had refused inspection of vehicles loaded with unidentified packaged material, and Sabereen News and Unit 10,000 (KH — affiliated) alone added minutes later that the inspecting personnel were arrested because of Mohammed al-Halbousi's influence. No source names the MP, the security force or any casualties, and no press coverage of the clash is in hand.
