On 13 October, Sadiqoun general-body member Hakim al-Muhammadawi (AAH), speaking through Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official owned media), warned that failure to pass the PMF law would bring mass demonstrations and said those interfering with the rights of fighters and wounded personnel would be stopped. Earlier remarks on the same programme attributed to him described wounded PMF personnel’s rights as neglected and said the law would guarantee them.
