Amiri reported urging factions to delay response to Saudi strikes

Three press reports published within roughly one hour on the morning of 7 August 2026 describe the same emerging question: whether Iraqi factions will respond to American-Saudi strikes. Rudaw Arabia attributed to Hadi al-Amiri a call on the "resistance" to postpone any response; Fito reported the Iraqi Army warning factions against targeting Saudi Arabia and affirming that the decision for war is exclusive to the state; RojNews reported a "dawn intervention" delaying the factions' response, without identifying who intervened. The rung is held to preponderance because three separate outlets carry mutually consistent accounts, but no militia source in the retrieved evidence confirms, denies or claims anything, no faction is named as the intended responder, and the identity of the dawn intervention is unstated.
