WHAT HAPPENED

On 26 September, Al-Kornet al-Kata'ibi (KSS — affiliated) identified Iraqi ambassador in Iran Yasser al-Hajjaj while relaying his account of efforts to restore flights. iNEWS (KSS — affiliated) and Al-Nujaba TV (Nujaba — official) also relayed his description of the interruption as temporary and not damaging to bilateral ties. Al-Nujaba TV attributed to him continuing Iraqi contacts with Iranian authorities.
