In the early hours of 7 August, Badr Secretary-General Hadi al-Amiri addressed the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, asking its leaders and members to postpone any reaction to what he called the American-Saudi aggression that struck Iraq, to "bite down on the wounds" in this phase, and promising the families of the dead and the fighters that their rights would be taken by diplomatic means for now. Badr's own Al-Ghadeer TV and Watan TV carried the wording directly; Sabereen News (KH — affiliated) relayed it as a postponement of the military response to "the Saudi entity," and Shabab al-Islam (Ashab al-Kahf — owned) carried the postponement but appended that he "calls for targeting Saudi Arabia," a clause that appears in none of the Badr-carried versions. The rung rests on Badr's own channels quoting al-Amiri in the first person across three separate posts, with the divergent clause traceable to a single non-Badr relay; no independent reporting of the underlying strike is in the collected material.
