On 23 September, Shafaq News cited a Badr bloc source saying Badr secretary-general Hadi al-Amiri ordered the withdrawal of parliamentary bloc chief Mahdi Taqi al-Amarli’s resignation letter from parliament. Al-Kornet al-Kata'ibi (KSS — affiliated) also reported that the bloc rejected and withdrew the letter. Shafaq News had earlier reported that al-Amarli submitted resignations from both parliament and Badr; the withdrawal report concerns the parliamentary letter.
