On 18 October, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official owned media) quoted legal expert Musaddaq Adel saying Sadiqoun bloc’s (AAH — parliamentary bloc) constitutional-amendment initiative accorded with a Federal Supreme Court decision confining amendment work to parliament’s constitutional-amendments committee. Political-affairs researcher Ali al-Fayli also characterized the bloc’s statement as positive and consistent with constitutional procedures.
