On 7 September, Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) carried a concentrated Sadiqoun campaign for a parliamentary vote on the PMF law. Sadiqoun MP Sakr al-Muhammadawi said a political agreement existed, Sadiqoun General Council member Nour Jafat said no obstacle remained, and MP Nour Adel said the law would regulate the PMF Authority and weapons while preserving fighters’ and families’ entitlements.
