Kata'ib Sayyid al-Shuhada conditioned arms regulation on ten demands on August 29. It demanded a full US withdrawal, protected Iraqi airspace, PMF legislation, federal security control nationwide and Iraqi-controlled air defenses. It also required the removal of PKK fighters, Turkish troops and Iranian opposition groups; Iraqi Army control of Kurdistan Region borders and crossings; and freedom from US economic and political control. KSS said weapons could return whenever necessary, while Hadi al-Amiri (Badr Organization — secretary-general) separately pledged to prevent a government-faction clash; press reports carried both positions beyond militia channels.

Abu Mujahid al-Asaf (KH — security official) said Faleh al-Fayyad warned KH before a purported Saudi-American bombardment of KH or other factions discussed on August 29. He said KH took precautions but faulted wider PMF intelligence as incomplete; press reporting had corroborated neither account. In the same statement, he said KH was arranging Al-Nasr City security with Babil’s governor and blamed an unnamed group for a Doura incident that allegedly killed two security personnel and injured others.

On the security file, Sabereen News (KH — affiliated), Al-Kornet al-Kata'ibi (KSS — affiliated), Unit 10,000 (KH — affiliated) and Al-Ghadeer TV (Badr Organization — official) carried the same PMF operation claim near Rawah. They said an unspecified PMF force destroyed two alleged ISIS hideouts west of Ramadi, but named no participating formation; press reporting had not corroborated the operation or attribution.

On internal affairs, six faction-linked outlets reported that the Integrity Commission detained four Babil Electricity employees after large feeder circuit breakers disappeared. Al-Nujaba TV (Nujaba — official), Watan TV (Badr Organization — affiliated), iNEWS (KSS — affiliated) and Al-Janoub TV (Harakat al-Jihad wal-Bina — official) joined Al-Ghadeer TV and Unit 10,000 in near-identical wording, without faction-specific accusations.

Al-Janoub TV attributed to al-Dhahawi, whose role it did not identify, a warning that lives would be lost at a September 7 open sit-in. He placed responsibility on the finance minister and the state, but named no perpetrator; no press reporting had corroborated the forecast.

In the militia space, Issam Hussein told Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official) that networks around Baghdad possessed car-bomb and suicide-attack capability awaiting an external decision. He linked the warning to the Doura killing, but identified neither who controlled the capability nor who would authorize or receive an attack.
