On 30 August, Al-Janoub TV (Harakat al-Jihad wal-Bina — official) attributed to al-Dhahawi the statement that lives would be lost at the 7 September open sit-in and that responsibility would be “on the neck of the finance minister and the state.” The post establishes that the outlet published this wording, but the supplied material does not identify al-Dhahawi beyond his name, the video’s audio was not assessed, and no reporting corroborates the forecast.
