On 16 September, seven militia channels across the AAH, Badr Organization, KH, KSS and Harakat al-Jihad wal-Bina networks carried Yemeni claims that an F-15 and a Wing Loong 2 armed reconnaissance aircraft had been downed over Ma’rib. The channels attributed the actions to Yemeni forces; imagery showed aircraft-like debris and an indistinct object in a targeting reticle but did not establish the aircraft types, location or cause of loss.
