On 28 October, Sadiqoun MP Saad al-Khazali (AAH), speaking on Al-Ahad TV (AAH — official owned media), said negotiations continued with factions whose weapons had not yet been addressed. He said resistance weapons had fulfilled their role and that weapons not organized under relevant ministries and displayed in the streets were outside the state framework.

سلاح المقاومة "صاحب فضل" وادى ما عليه المفاوضات جارية مع الفصائل التي لم تعالج سلاحها الى الان أي سلاح لا ينظم بوزارات معنية ويشهر في الشوارع فهو خارج اطار الدولة
