On the evening of 3 August 2026, marking the twelfth anniversary of the Islamic State genocide against the Yazidis, Qais al-Khazali's media office published a statement calling on the Iraqi state to intensify its efforts, and Al-Ahad TV and the Asaib Ahl al-Haq channel carried the identical text within four minutes. Al-Ahad TV then broke the demands into four separate cards over six minutes: return more than 120,000 people still in displacement camps and complete the returnees' grant; secure dignified living for more than 130,000 Yazidis who have returned to Sinjar; rebuild destroyed Yazidi homes, complete infrastructure, compensate thousands of victims and address survivors', martyrs' and missing persons' rights; and resolve the Sinjar administration problem whose absence since 2017 still obstructs stability. The rung rests on the group's own originating channel plus two of its own relays carrying identical wording, which establishes what was said but nothing about the underlying conditions.
