Shafaq News says PMF vacated Anbar sites

WHAT HAPPENED

On August 31, Shafaq News reported that the PMF evacuated headquarters or reduced its presence at Anbar sites in anticipation of possible targeting amid U.S.-Iran tensions; Middle East Online subsequently reported that the escalation was driving the evacuations. The two outlets support the existence of precautionary repositioning, but neither report identifies a specific faction order or says an attack followed, and no PMF acknowledgment appeared in this window’s collected messages.
